Debbie’s glassy, geometric works begin as a concept or idea, transferred from her head to the computer. Her sketches are digital illustrations, the patterns made in pixels before they’re transferred to glass. These templates guide the shapes and color stories once she begins her work in glass, but it’s the glass itself that influences the final design. She hand selects each and every piece—one huge sheet of a certain glass type can yield a wide variety of color and pattern. These variances are what give her stained glass pieces character, making every item one of a kind.
