A post-hurricane aid trip to Honduras was all it took to get this maker's creative juices flowing. Seeing a need for basic living structures, Chad began building furniture shortly after his return to the states, dabbling in outdoor arrangements before moving on to industrial indoor pieces. His line, which is a mixture of hardwoods and steel frames, looks more like artwork than a simple furniture collection, and that is exactly how he views it. If you wouldn't want to display it proudly in your home, you won't find it in his line. Like many a maker, Chad gets his energy for building from a dark, rich cup of coffee every morning. And if he sets it down on a self-made coffee table in between sips, well, we wouldn't be surprised.
