It’s a lucky thing Jen enjoys the creative process; given her family’s artistic inclinations, she really had no choice but to wind up making pieces for her own career. Once she hit her formative teen years, her passion became painting; she signed all of her pieces with the family nickname “Jennie Claire”. From painting, the renaissance creator picked up plenty of trades from other family members: sewing from my mom, leather working from Grandpa, cooking and baking with Grandma. To complete this quadfecta , she took up metalsmithing with her welder uncle. Seems like there were no forks in the road to an artistic career, unless you count the many creative trades she’s already mastered along the way.
