Originally intent on a career in metalsmithing, a one-off course in textiles eventually had Danielle hooked on the softer, quieter art of embroidery. She found the meditative process soothing, now using it to create cozy home goods and wall art. Inspiration usually comes unintentionally, with most ideas hitting Danielle during an afternoon hike or a long drive. It's then that she returns home and whips out the needles, music playing from her studio's speakers. As a full-time bartender by day, Danielle looks forward to the quiet time, when she can slow down a little and simply be creative.
