Between Rachel’s experience in art (graphic design as well as textiles) and Aaron’s background in metal sculpting (oh, and also art) they’ve built a life philosophy out of granting new meaning to the discarded, thereby defining a new modern philosophy of art. “There’s beauty in the raw,” Aaron explains. “Metal, in its natural state is dynamic, ever-changing. We like to play through nature’s ‘flaws’ and reveal the character and craftsmanship to make the average material into the exceptional.” Sure, it’s deep... but there’s definitely something powerful about championing the art of nature and making it, somehow, even more naturally beautiful.
