Like many who came before them, Nikki and Sam found themselves a wee short on space when they showed up in Brooklyn. Always ones to DIY their space, they started crafting furniture pieces to make their tiny home more livable. Then they got all wrapped up in the maker/woodworker renaissance that was going down there, and started filling their friends’ studios and living spaces with awesomely functional, cleverly designed pieces that looked dang good too. They put the emphasis on design, doing everything from working in a 3D print shop to constructing prototypes with bendy straws (really) until they arrive at the perfect intersection of form and function.
