Balancing life as a social worker, therapist and full-time parent to two young boys, this maker had precious little time leftover to devote to her own interests. Her craving for a creative outlet (and some actual, for real “me” time) ended in the decision to sit down and pick up a paintbrush. Since then, Britt has geared her artistic focus toward the creation of positive, floral paintings. She draws inspiration from vintage fabrics and images that catch her eye and surrounds herself with them before beginning a new project. Kudos to this busy painter for settling on a relaxing and productive approach to free time. We might have settled for a bottle of wine and a Netflix marathon.
