To start a new project, Camille must carefully mix and pour a two-part epoxy resin with colorizing pigments and delicate metallic flakes such as copper, gold or variegated blue leaf flake. From start to finish, the process is almost as delicate as the magical final products themselves. Though most of her accessories have pretty similar beginnings, once they’ve gone through their long curing process, they become completely unique, tiny works of art. The swirls of gold leaf settle, the color of the resin deepens and the textures get all glossy. Although some pendants can take up to five days of pouring, drying and sanding to become the smooth stunners Camille wants them to be, she doesn’t mind the slower turn around. Making magic takes a little time.
