Pretend like you’re in a museum. Or, at least in a friend’s bright and stylish home. Now: tilt your head to the side (you know, as one does when analyzing art), and try to sum up Casey’s style into one genre of art. Naturalist? Surrealist? Or how’s about Organic Abstractist? Hey, there’s always new genres of art to be made... and that’s about where Casey would put it. “My drawings are inspired by nature with detailed organic motifs. They start and end very organically, but sometimes the finished product also feels abstract.” Basically, if it grows in nature, Casey will find artistic inspiration in it. The fine detail of a flower or a tree, even amoebas under a microscope... you get the idea: all living things are art.
