Though there isn't any actual "magic" involved in making Chocolate and Steel's gorgeous reclaimed silver jewelry, a studio busy with a handful of inspiring women, spirited pups, David Bowie and Cali solar power is pretty close. Each of Christine's pendants, rings and bracelets start with a drawing on paper. These sketches are transferred to a handcrafted silver clay stamp before getting fired in a kiln and polished by hand to achieve the perfect finish. Each piece is then cast in reclaimed sterling using the ancient art of lost wax casting. The result? Simple, balanced and restrained forms paired with the marks left by human hands that make each piece unique as it's wearer.
