Lynette takes handbag making very seriously. Each of her playful clutches and pouches is a result of a focused design process. Starting at the fabric store, Lynette examines the character, texture and weight of each material to determine how each can be transformed. She then hand sketches each idea before translating it into a paper pattern. The vintage tweeds, upholsteries and denims are then carefully cut and sewn, lined with interfacing for extra stability and embellished with metal rivets and coordinating topstitching for precisely placed fun.
