Emily began working with metal at an early age — sixteen, to be precise. Besides the obvious appeal of a torch, hammer and metalworking to a teenager, she also felt drawn to the process behind jewelry design. As she delved deeper into her craft, Emily developed a true passion for jewelry-making and the history behind it. Every piece of her jewelry is created with a story in mind. Emily starts by sketching in metal, then she pulls out the fire and the hammer, getting back to the basics she's been practicing since she was sixteen.
