It was in her industrial design schooling that Meg got her first taste of woodworking, studying furnituremaking. Later on, as she began outfitting her current home, she decided to build pieces for each corner with her own hands. She already had plenty of material from the fencing that she and her husband took down when they moved in, and she found that the reclaimed wood was the perfect canvas for her projects. After cleaning each fence post, she transforms the wood panels with hand-drawn illustrations, carefully fitted votive shelves or tiny vases. These pieces found new homes in her kitchen, bedroom and living room, respectively, and they’ve been lovingly recreated to bedeck your walls.
