A semester abroad in England was inspirational for the young Rachael. She used to look out her bedroom window and see sweet sheep dotting the pasture across the road — she wanted to hug them. Heck, she might have. We don't know for sure. What we do know, however, is that Rachael's affinity for wool goods developed right then and there. Today, she sits with rolls and swatches of felt in not-England, matching them up, pulling and twisting them into cozy table runners, napkin rings, pillows and coasters. Rachael only uses 100% wool felt, and stitches each of the pieces carefully by hand.
