Christy tackles as much of the quilt making process as she can with every quilt she creates. She may not grow her own cotton (yet) but she designs the patterns, dyes the fabric with her own colorfast colors, quilts everything together with a sewing machine and finishes the whole thing up with a little hand-stitching. Conceptually, she is all about the heirloom quilt that’s kept for generations. Aesthetically, she prefers something a bit more modern, with unexpected colors and angles. With her old-school opinions on quality and forward-looking design sense, we see Christy as the queen bee of quilt making.
