After taking the slightest of glances at Kimberly's catalogue, it becomes evident right away that she has an artistic background — although the venture into colorful wood sculptures is a newer one. And though it might be a newly acquired interest, she's already carving, painting and texturing her pieces like a pro — doing as much by hand as she possibly can. Kimberly uses minimal machinery in her process, a philosophy which gives her wood sculptures a uniquely human feel. As a sidenote, her name also means "from the wood of the royal forest", and if that's not fate we don't know what is.
