Laura learned how to knit as a young'un, and she then promptly forgot. It wasn't until a few years later, when a friend offered to re-teach her, that Laura decided she wanted to pick up the needles again. And she hasn't stopped knitting since. While she's always loved classic knit scarves, Laura knew that she wanted to do something to make 'em stand out a little. This, naturally, meant that she'd start making almost all of her buttons by hand. Each of her handmade buttons is formed from polymer clay, baked, painted and then lovingly affixed to her (also lovingly) hand-knit creations.
