Samantha makes her leather goods because, well, she needs them. She began designing her own items after finding that store bought goods didn’t stand up to the abuses of everyday life. She’s dropped purses in puddles, slammed clutches in car doors and stuffed wallets until they were literally bursting at the seams. With durability and quality as her goal, Samantha set forth to create accessories that could pass her test of use. She meticulously cuts hides, preps pattern pieces, measures and punches holes, assembles, rivets and tightens each stitch by hand, stopping often to inspect her handiwork. The final items are made to last, and maybe even survive a puddle or two.
