Heather's story begins with a simple habit: collecting vintage furniture and treasures on her travels. It wasn't long before she found herself refinishing those vintage pieces and then, eventually, building her own stuff from reclaimed wood. The painter quickly realized that reclaimed wood panels made excellent canvases of sorts for her vintage-lace-inspired prints. Instead of simply serving as a backdrop, the wood panels become part of the art, accentuating the lace paintings and making us even more excited to hang 'em up on our walls.
