It was while working on a farm that Shaun first dabbled in the art of hot saucery. As a farm hand, he'd learned a whole lot about the importance of heirloom seeds –– namely, that they're well worth the extra work. His hot sauces aren't just flavored vinegars (like many, alas). Instead, Shaun makes his hot sauces with organic peppers, including one that he invented. He cultivated the Hot Winter Pepper for a sweet earthy flavor that shines in the sauce –– think sriracha, but way more complex. It's bold, interesting and spicy. Sounds like something we'd want to keep around for awhile.
