When Jordanah talks about the whole “support local” thing, she’s not messing around. She creates a line of chill, wear-it-anywhere clothes that are sketched, designed, mocked up and manufactured right in her neighborhood outside of Seattle. Jordanah’s line grew out of her appreciation for craftsmanship—and, yes, a passion for supporting local artists and brands. She found her little place in the world creating locally made goods that she felt were missing from the retail market. She scours the country to source limited fabrics, which she uses to make her original designs, which often has classic silhouettes and fun details, like cut-outs or scalloped necklines. The bottom line is that you aren’t going to find some chick wearing the same shirt as you when you are out and about—even in Jordanah’s ‘hood.
