The oldest male out of nine children, Joe took on a few different trades to pull in money for the fam while he was growing up, but the one that most intrigued him most was working with leather. Throughout his teens, Joe and his best friend would hammer away slabs of leather to create one-of-a-kind pieces, like leather cuffs, belts and watchbands. Fast forward 20-something years and what seems like a lifetime, when Joe decided to rekindle the old leather-making flame. What he thought would be a hobby, turned into a passion, then a way of life. With the help of his family, Joe combines old school and modern techniques to create distinct aged leather accessories—they’ve got an old curiosity shop quality that looks just right with the aged leather.
