John has some major street cred: He started regularly selling his artwork at the ripe old age of 11 and was experimenting with art and design on a computer in the ‘80s. After a seriously illustrious career in design, doing work for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Target and many more, he had a personal revelation: he could create whatever kind of art his heart desired—and his artistic muses called for—and sell it online. He could be his own boss. The result is a line of adorable kids designs and local-lovin’ pieces on wood boxes, all of which reflect his love for urban textures, typography and “analog” art techniques.
