A fast-paced life in New York City, coupled with the desire to do things with her hands drove Josie into the cozy, yarn-y world of knitting and crocheting. To her, the time (and, consequently, patience) it takes to complete each snuggly scarf and toasty mitten is a welcome respite from hectic city life. And though the mere words "crochet" and "knit" may conjure images of gray hairs and reading glasses pulled much further down noses than is required, Josie works her yarn in a more, erm, modern fashion. Each piece is an original, modern design, some of which took days to get just right.
