In Kim's mind, art imitates life. Whether it's the flowers, fresh from her garden, or light streaming down from the moon, Kim finds inspiration for her jewelry all around her. She then takes those nuggets of inspiration and transforms 'em into something wearable — textured, colorful, often enameled, jewelry. Kim hammers away at the metal until it bears the same shimmer as the moon that inspired it; she mixes colors until they look just like the flowers in her garden. Her pieces are art, imitating life. (And doing a mighty find job while they're at it.)
