Coco’s craft could definitely be described as a journey: She was trained on both the east coast, at the Rhode Island School of Design, and the west coast, at the University of New Mexico, where she found a passion for metalworking. She set up shop in Portland, where she was a part of the burgeoning art/maker scene there in the late ’90s. Now she’s creating in a restored 1880s farmhouse in coastal Maine. All those places and people helped her hone her unique style: durable, wearable, organically formed rings with an appreciation for clean, simple design.
