When Amber returned to America after spending time in rural India, she found it more than a little difficult to get back into the swing of things. Rather than diving head first, she chose to ease back into western life with a work-study focused on crafts in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Long walks in the forest inspired her to create jewelry using the region's local flora and fauna, creating pieces that feature each plant's unique pattern and shape. Hours of practice seem to have paid off, with Amber finally perfecting the art of turning backyard botany into keepsakes that promise not to wilt.
