Originally, Karden and Tricia were pie makers –– especially with pecans. But one day, with tons of leftover pieces of pecans strewn about, Tricia wondered, why not make brittle out of 'em? And why not use maple syrup? And thus, Mighty Brittle was born. The duo put on their (metaphorical) thinking caps and set to (literal) work. They used organic sugar, local maple syrup and not a drop of corn stuff (syrup, that is). The result? Brittle that was far too good to keep to themselves. From there they tinkered their way to a multitude of awesome brittle flavors. Including Chai. Yes, Chai.
