Unlike other screenprinters, every one of Miriam's designs that finds its way onto a piece of fabric or paper started out as a drawing (doesn't get much more one-of-a-kind than that). With a love for adventure and exploration, she sketches out illustrations of images inspired by California and the Southwest, doing all the work from start to finish. It's a method that's not particularly easy, but for someone who truly loves what they do (which Miriam does), that's of little importance. And since the results make us feel excited and mushy and all those sorts of feelings, we don't mind either.
