For Kaitlyn, new product inspiration is most likely to strike right in that twilight hour before she falls asleep at night. Every morning, she looks forward to playing a game she likes to call “Let’s decipher that thing I drew when I was half asleep!” Although she can’t always be sure of what she’ll come up with next, somehow her designs all come together in the end to form a cohesive collection of geometric, copper home décor. The copper makes the whole making process particularly unique. Most metal plant holders and shelves use brass instead of copper since it can be more plant-friendly and easier to shape. But Kaitlyn couldn’t resist copper’s warm tone and organic imperfections. She loves inventing new shapes with her copper medium so that her favorite metal can harmoniously co-exist with her favorite flora.
