Few can pinpoint the exact moment when they fell in love with metal. Not many people have fallen in love with metal, for that matter. But for Nancy, neither were true. Once she made her first sterling silver ring in metalsmithing class, she was hooked. It took awhile before she jumped into jewelry-making full time, but Nancy has developed a unique approach to the craft. She's inspired by her rural countryside home –– where she gathers lichen, birch bark and twigs. She then makes molds, casts them in metal and deftly assembles the pieces to create jewelry that's simple, natural and beautiful.
