Ashley began her career in food in the kitchen of a fast-paced Beverly Hills bistro, plating hundreds of desserts each night for the dinner rush. When she and her husband discovered their family was growing, she left the busy space for another kind of busyness: motherhood. Fast forward to her current dinner service, with the patrons numbering just four. Still holding the passion for great food, she began a blog Not Without Salt to document the simple, classic and nutritious meals she puts on the table each day.
