Garrett’s childhood was spent outdoors, spending plenty of time with family and working with his hands. During his time as a web developer and designer, he was always in front of a computer and missed building, creating and his clan. And so he decided to put his long-cultivated woodworking and construction skills to use, crafting tables, racks and kitchen organization using wood from retired wine barrels. Letting his love of cozy, pub-style décor inspire each piece, Garrett carefully cleans and sands the deconstructed barrels before building them into new shapes. Just like he learned in this own youth, his kids are picking up woodworking skills from watching him in the workshop, along with the value of building things on your own.
