Coreyce is a hands-on kind of gal; in fact, her own two -- hands, that is -- are involved in every step of making her leather goods. Without using any machinery or heavy duty leatherworking tools, she crafts her designs, tracing the patterns, cutting the hides, embossing edge patterns, stitching with waxed thread and adding finishing hardware. Even the leather is dyed to order, and the dye color is mixed per piece. Though they can be labor intensive to make, each of her clutches, pouches and wallets is lovingly crafted and built to last, and since they’re made by Coreyce and not a machine, each one is slightly different and always unique.
