Zeb had been brewing beer for a while; Lauren had been coercing her family to eat healthy, unprocessed foods for a while. Then she thought, what’s the point of eating clean if you are bathing in junk? So she started making her own soap—and nicking some of Zeb’s homebrews to spike her batches. The little product soon turned into a family business (can you say pumpkin ale beer soap?!). While there are many beer soaps out there—the appeal of theirs is that it is made with homebrew. And since Zeb’s the purist/beer snob he tries to keep the fragrances as complementary to the brew as possible, while Lauren’s keeping the ingredients as pure and high quality as she can.
