Dave is a sculptor by trade. Amy is a textile designer. After they met and fell in love, they decided that their dream was to make art together from home, working side by side. Now before you cue the lovey dovey music and put on the gauzy filter, you should know that they were creating a line of custom voodoo dolls. They soon discovered that people loved the rustic display cases even more than their vexing creations, so a whole line of furniture evolved from there. Dave still brings his sculptural sensibilities to each piece—and Amy brings the designer’s eye. But I’d still think twice about getting on their bad side, just in case.
