Trained in the traditional crafts of metalsmithing and jewelrymaking, Seth takes sterling silver to transform it from a hunk of metal into wearable art. His process starts with cold rolled silver, which has been given torn, cracked edges. Each silver sheet is cut and formed into clean geometric shapes, with the smooth edges of each outline contrasting with the roughed up textures. What results is a balanced composition of perfectly polished and eccentric, for a strong, direct and edgy look. And since he makes every piece from start to finish with his two hands, each ring, earring and necklace is ultimately one of a kind.
