Robyn takes advantage of as many media as she can to make sure each of her sketches turn out right. She starts analog with a pencil, a pen and a journal. When she gets an idea (usually inspired by one of her silly, sassy cats), she quickly jots it down or draws an outline for safe keeping. From there, she might cherry-pick her favorites to add paint to right there on the page. Finally, she’ll take it digital, scanning in those physical, hand-drawn ideas to be cleaned up and finalized on the screen. By the time it’s done, it’s ready to re-enter our analog world once again in the form of cards, prints and more. Who woulda thunk the battle of print vs. technology could be so adorable?
