It’s kind of funny to find a self-proclaimed “winter lover” in the likes of hot-year-round Austin, TX. Lorraine and her husband still pine for the times they moved to Vermont where wearing wool (and only the best kind of wool) is a way of life. It was there that she was immersed in the amazing properties of the fuzzy stuff: superior insulation (cozy, not stale and stuffy), wicks moisture (it can get wet and still keep you warm), resilient, and a natural fire retardant (might come in handy on a tipsy New Years Eve). It’s why her work is 100% natural, classic, cozy, functional, oh-so-lovely wool put together in bold and playful graphic designs. Hats and cowls so dang cute, it kinda makes us wish for a long winter. (Kind of.)
