Jeannine always considered herself more of a “maker of things” than an “artist,” from making mud pies in the backyard as a kid to sewing her own clothing in high school to teaching herself how to make her own rustic-elegant jewelry with pounded metals and semi-precious stones. That last little foray began 10 years ago, when she started making completely unique pieces for herself—then the beads and tools and supplies claimed more and more space in her bedroom. That good ole entrepreneurial, self-taught mentality leads to Jeannine being super creative in her process, using things like chimney bricks to pound her metals.
