As an architect, Teresa spent a whole lot of time building things on the computer screen. Which was cool (obviously), but didn't quite give her the creative outlet she needed. So she started building bags. Specifically, sturdy leather satchels and such that are clearly influenced by her building building chops. She starts every design with a general construction technique, folding and pleating the material until she makes something she loves. An occurrence that, by the looks of things, happens quite frequently.
