Dan and Lance were intrigued when they learned of Dan's stepfather's collection. He had amassed 2,000 vintage beer cans over the past 35 years––unique cans which featured designs that piqued the interest of the two graphic designers. Both Dan and Lance saw the motley collection of not-so-shiny cans as a thing to celebrate, showcase and share. And they became slightly obsessed (just slightly, mind you). They set off to photograph the best of the lot, marveling that though once mass produced, most people don't even know these cans existed anymore. That last part's about to change.
