Amber Lee spent the first part of her life in a ridiculously picturesque part of Venezuela with a family of European immigrants. Yes, she was in a family of chocolate lovers, living among the world’s most revered cacao. Not surprisingly, this set the stage for a life-long creative affair with good ole chocolate. Joining forces with marketing whiz Andrea, they’ve come up with a delightful new way to serve the fine stuff: in a block on the end of a stick or spoon, which is meant to be swirled into a hot liquid to create hot chocolate. This is no ordinary block of chocolate, but “couverture” chocolate made by a staff of artisans in supremely creative flavors.
