California natives, Meghan and Brian are lucky enough to have access to fresh crops and catches from the sea. Curious about when food was at its juicy, ripe peak, they embarked on an extensive personal research project, talking to local farmers, digesting regional harvest guides and even getting in touch with the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch Program in the process. Architects by trade, Meghan and Brian spend much of their time drawing square things, and once the research was complete and the design process began, they were able to use their skills and apply them to new organic shapes. This beautiful reference guide is the result of innumerable hours of research and production. It will be as helpful to reference as it is delicious to look at.
